Nishant drives partnerships at Gigascale, helping portfolio companies accelerate commercialization and close strategic deals. He brings more than 17 years of business development and partnerships experience spanning early-stage startups, Fortune 100 companies, and global tech leaders.

Before joining Gigascale, Nishant was part of the early Partnerships team at Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy, where he led go-to-market efforts for technologies including geothermal, superconducting transmission, energy storage, low-carbon cement, and data center solutions. He structured and negotiated high-impact global partnerships and helped activate a cross-sector ecosystem to scale emerging technologies for climate impact.

Prior to Breakthrough, Nishant spent six years at Salesforce, most recently as VP of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships. There, he drove $300M+ in revenue growth, unlocked $10B+ in new TAM, launched two new business units, and built a high-performing BD team that directly influenced product roadmaps and M&A strategy.

Earlier in his career, Nishant held senior roles in startups and consulting. As VP of Channel and Business Development at Neuhealth, he grew patient revenue to $7M before a successful acquisition by Neuterra. At BrainReactions, he increased enterprise sales tenfold. He also spent time at Deloitte and Schaffer & Combs, advising Fortune 100 and mission-driven organizations on social impact and growth strategies.

Nishant currently serves on the Board of Directors of Fair Trade USA. He completed doctoral research in Economic Anthropology at UC Berkeley and UCSF, holds a Master’s in Sociology from the London School of Economics, and earned a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
